Company History
Chiles & Sillivan, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business located in Whitehall, Pennsylvania. Our company was founded in 1950 by Frank Chiles, Jr. and Donald Sillivan, Sr. Prior to starting their own business, the two partners learned the trade while employed by Frank's father, who was one of the Lehigh Valley's leading residential builders in the 1930's and 1940's.

Chiles & Sillivan, Inc. has established itself as a quality-conscious builder of custom homes, Churches, schools, hospitals, commercial construction and metal buildings. In addition, the company is particularly experienced in historical restoration - renovation and specialty enclosures. The typical client who selects Chiles & Sillivan, Inc. as their contractor is one who understands and appreciates quality work at a fair and reasonable price.

Chiles & Sillivan employs nearly two dozen people, the majority of whom have been with the company for more than ten years. The five owners/managers have worked continuously together since 1982 and have a combined total of more than 100 years of construction experience. Each one brings a special synergy to the successful operation of the company.

The Team Concept

The team concept recognizes that the client has three essential goals when considering construction: need, cost and quality. To achieve these goals Chiles & Sillivan prefers to establish a construction team in conjunction with the client and architect. This concept is firmly rooted in trust and integrity which permits open and frank communication among members of the team. The result is that the team is capable of developing designs, ideas, estimates and working drawings with the owners best interest uppermost in mind. The team concept is good for the owner and good for all the other members of the team. Chiles & Sillivan has embraced this concept ever since its founding because it has proven to be the best way to build customer trust and satisfaction.
